Epic Monopoly 2
Epic Monopoly 2 from WMS
Williams Interactive seems to be building quite the empire with its Monopoly games. For a developer that can conceivably go six months or more without a new game release, the speed at which the Monopoly games have been hitting our screens has been nothing short of remarkable and they have all managed to stand out in their own right by bringing something new to the table. Essentially, WMS already has fans in us on the strength of the likes of Super Monopoly Money and Monopoly Once Around Deluxe and they’ve managed to surprise us once again with Epic Monopoly 2 (we’re not exactly sure what ever happened to the first version but it must have been a land based exclusive). Either way, this game lives up to the “epic” moniker by introducing a WMS favourite to the board in the form of Colossal Reels.
Colossal Reels on Epic Monopoly 2
Those Colossal Reels are arguably the most notable standalone feature that WMS has brought to the online scene in recent times and they have certainly seen their fair share of use, appearing on games as diverse as Spartacus and Kiss. Here on Epic Monopoly 2, they continue in a similar role with a reasonably standard board on the left of the screen and a giant one on the right. They can work together if symbols line up correctly, using a hundred win lines in the process, and can also transfer wild cards. If a reel becomes fully wild on the main board, the corresponding reel on the giant board will do the same – you just need to hope that the symbols in between are capable of making the best use of such a feature!
The Monopoly Bonus Wheel
The wild symbol isn’t the only important icon to keep an eye out for on the game, as the bonus symbol will also lead to something exciting. It can only appear on reels one, three and five of each board, but three in view across both boards combined will trigger the bonus wheel and that’s packed with cash wins and additional bonus features. This could be a multiple of your total stake, between seven and twenty free spins or between two and ten dice rolls as players make their way to the standard Monopoly board. There’s also a potential Chance bonus, where players pick from five cards to reveal similar rewards to those offered on the wheel itself, and also the chance to spin the wheel again.
Epic Monopoly 2 on Mobile Devices
There was a time when we weren’t even sure whether Colossal Reels games would be possible on mobile devices, although the likes of Zeus 1000 and Spartacus certainly managed to set us straight in that regard. That makes Epic Monopoly 2 less spectacular in a way, but the fact remains that if you want to enjoy one of the best online Monopoly games currently out there from just about anywhere, you can do and it continues to make use of the same great features and bonuses as the online version.
WMS is definitely on a bit of a hot streak when it comes to adding games into their Monopoly range and we’re yet to encounter a dud among the selection yet. They’re all different enough that we couldn’t speak for everyone and pick out a best one, but if you enjoy Colossal Reels and fancy your chances on the board then this one comes highly recommended. It can be played instantly and you won’t even need to leave this page in order to do so!
