Frozen Inferno WMS Game
We’re totally used to game developers looking to play on words at every opportunity, but Frozen Inferno is quite the contradiction if ever we heard one! Nevertheless, the names don’t always mean that much, especially when WMS is involved, and we’re still confident of finding a truly top class game with plenty of features to enjoy. You have two options if you’d like to find out for yourself as you can play the full version of Frozen Inferno for free right here on this page, or read on to see our thoughts and coverage of exactly what to expect from this brand new title.
Forty Lines of Chilling Symbols
If we had to take a wild guess as to the win line configuration on a WMS game with no clues, we would always go for forty. We’d be correct here on Frozen Inferno, as the four rows of symbols are accompanied by plenty of ways to win, while also allowing for some truly incredible total stakes if you’re looking to push the limits.
Before you get to these stakes, you’ll need to take your pick of an option that explains why the name of the game is such a contradiction. There is both a Frozen version of the game, which is of course all about ice, and an Inferno version which is far fierier. Your choice has an impact on how the game looks with a desolate frozen wasteland being one option, or an equally desolate burning backdrop surrounding the action on the other. No matter which you choose, you can expect some truly stunning symbols to illustrate the action and we have rarely seen anything that looks quite this good while inherently being so simple – with much of that coming from the fact that similar symbols are used but in blue or red.
Fixed Wilds and Wild Features
No matter which style of game you choose, you can always rely on a fixed wild card in the middle of the third reel, and that symbol will also be themed based on your pick. There are more than just visual differences between the two, however, as that wild performs differently depending on the mode that you’re playing in. If you’re in Frozen mode, the icy wild will see each ice symbol that lands on a spin transforming into an additional wild. This will continue with the wilds frozen in place until four appear on the board. At this point, one more ice symbol landing will trigger the free spins bonus.
The Inferno wild behaves differently in that it will move one position around the board on each spin. Landing a Ride symbol will add more wilds to the board and, like in the Frozen version, you’ll be looking to land four in total before hitting an additional fire symbol, which will then trigger the free spins bonus.
Rather than awarding a set number of spins, players will be able to enjoy the bonus round until they form five winning combinations. Each win will see a certain reel being changed from its Inferno version to the Frozen version or vice versa. When all reels are the same style, the bonus round ends and players will head back to the base game to play again.
Frozen Inferno Mobile
WMS has become increasingly reliable as far as getting its games out across all platforms is concerned and they have delivered here once again by ensuring that players will be able to enjoy Frozen Inferno not only on their desktops but also all of the latest mobile devices. You can play both with just a single account at one of our recommended gaming brands too, so you really can enjoy the action anywhere.
Frozen Inferno does sound complex but it is actually a pretty simple game. That goes for the graphics, gameplay and features and while some practice is recommended, it won’t take all that long to get your head around what it has to offer. The best way to practice any game is of course to enjoy it with absolutely no risk attached and, as noted in the introduction, you can do exactly that right here on this page by heading back to the top of the review!
