Quick Hit Pro
Quick Hit Pro by Bally
Bally is not the kind of slots developer that doesn’t notice when it’s onto a good thing. Their Quick Hit video slots have almost defined a generation, not only for the company but also their players and they have wasted no time ensuring that the range is a high priority when it comes to bringing their top video slots to an online audience. As you’ll know if you’ve played the likes of Quick Hit Black Gold and Quick Hit Platinum here on the site, the series is all about taking a standard Bally format and then throwing in a few innovations here and there. The end result is always a game that is easy enough for fans to pick up and play while still having a couple of surprises in store – although we’re going to spoil all of them throughout the course of this review!
Forty Lines Packed with Classic Symbols
The symbol selection on Quick Hit games rarely changes too much and players are treated once again to playing card icons, bells, cherries and more, each of which harks back to the classical days of video slots gaming. These symbols are of course joined by the Quick Hit icon too, which serves its standard role as a scatter, leading to bigger wins with more in view. Throw in a wild card that can come along in stacks and you’ve got everything a Bally fan could hope for – and we haven’t even got on to the main feature round yet!
Free Spins with a Dash of Pachinko
Just as you can be sure that a Quick Hit game will include the scatter symbol of the same name, you can also be reasonably confident that free spins will land your way sooner or later. That’s the case on Quick Hit Pro and you’ll need the “free games” symbol on reels two, three and four in order to enter the round. Fifteen spins are awarded as standard and you’ll also find that a silver ball has been added to the reels, that being the Pachinko ball. When the ball lands on the board, it is added to a counter at the top of the screen and when the spins come to an end, you’re whisked off to the Pachinko table to see what those balls are worth.
Without giving a history lesson, Pachinko is a game where you must land small silver balls in holes on the board – you’ve probably seen it at some point even if it was referred to by a different name. Anyway, in the case of Quick Hit Pro, these holes that you’re looking to land the ball in are each marked with their own multiplier amount. Land a ball in one and that multiplier is applied to your stake and credited to the player. Effectively, the free spins round allows players to double dip, scooping decent prizes on the spins themselves and then winning even more as part of a secondary bonus!
